Retrocon is a gaming conference based on some of the oldest yet most popular games worldwide which do not require any specific language to be enjoyed. This set of three posters was made as a submission for Typography Day 2020 which focuses on "Typographic Dialogues: Local-Global".
This fictional conference takes place in Lebanon, and is promoted through either a Latin Poster, an Arabic Poster or a Bilingual Poster.
The typography used as 'catchphrases' was made through elements of the game itself. It stands out yet doesn't feel out of place with the setting of each game.
